Wall lamp Birdy, 19x31.5cm, different colors

The Birdy luminaire in the modern style is the work of Birger Dahl, a pioneer of modern Scandinavian luminaires, since 1952. In 2013, Northern decided to recreate this design classic, retaining the original form and functional features that ensured the luminaire's rapid popularity.

The Birdy series includes a table lamp, a floor lamp and wall lamps of various lengths. Different combinations of finishes are also available to help this timeless design classic in different colors and to match the interior. 

In 1954, the table lamp, then known as the "s-30016", won a highly regarded gold medal at the Milan Triennial.

The luminaire can be connected both to the mains plug and directly to the wall socket, making it a great option for practical use next to the bed or above the work surface, as well as for example, as a decorative element on a blank wall and creating a cozy atmosphere.
