Ceiling lamp Dokka, 16.5x24.5cm, different colors

Dokka is a small luminaire with a great history. Designed in 1954, the Dokka was the first Norwegian luminaire to receive a gold medal At the Triennale di Milano exhibition. With smooth contours, precise proportions and skilful material handling, the luminaire had the potential to become a timeless design classic from day one. 

Dokka became one of Norway's best-selling ceiling luminaires of all time, but disappeared from the scene when its manufacturer made a final statement with its luminaire collection. In 2007, Northern Dokka began to reproduce the luminaire, carefully maintaining the features that made it a design classic at the time. Today, Dokka is masterfully made of durable painted steel designed to last. 

The luminaire is available in a wide range of colors. The bright color palette offers both more neutral tones to achieve a harmonious balance in the room as well as brighter colors to add a little playfulness to the interior. The icon of its time, Dokka, is a kind of modern luminaire destined to last in the future.
